some keyboard letters not working

Well, I went a while without recharging my treo and the battery died. So when I did a hotsync, it reloaded all my applications. I've done this a couple times before with no problems.

However, this time a couple of my keyboard keys do not appear to work, specifically the letters 'a' and 'o'. As I am rather fond of using vowels, this puts a bit of a damper on my treo usage. I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a way for me to fix this?
