    Default 2gb SD Cards - $69 at Fry's

I am lucky to have a Fry's in Austin - they have the Sandisk 2gb card for $69 today after mail-in rebate. That seems pretty reasonable, doesn't it?

Also, online, newegg seems to have some good pricing.

But, one of the toughest things I have tried to do lately is be the lowest winning bidder on both 1 & 2 gb cards on eBay! Damn that is hard to do.

That's a really good price. I paid about that online for one a few weeks ago.

Well, silly me, I drive to Fry's and find out they dont do AMEX and it is the only card I have (hey, I am a man with a wife and 2 kids, I NEVER have cash!). I forgot that AGAIN! damn!

anyway, bought a Sandisk 1gigger on eBay tonight for $38 - not a bad deal either.

I ended up with the A-DATA 2gb SD card from newegg for $48 shipped. So far, it's pretty nice. Not too bad. And to think I was going to pay $55 at my local Staples for a 1gb SD card.

I vist Fry's in So Calif when I am down there. It's a great store.

    Default 1gb ridata 150x $35 at mwave.com

Shipping $6 + tax $2 comes out to about $35.

I bought one last week for $29 + shipping + tax, so they've knocked the price down more.

I got a 2 gig Sandisk from my local circuit city a few weeks ago for $80 before $5 rebate. I thought $80+tax-$5 wasn't bad.

Was back in there last night, and noticed they were back up to $99 for the same card . . . .

After a whole lot of procrastination and getting distracted by other things like the 700p, I finally got around to getting one of these cards, too, from clubIT, online. Couldn't beat the price ($42, shipped). So far, no problems formatting in the Treo, copying old SD card files over, reading in the Treo, reading/writing in the built-in reader on my laptop, or with my SanDisk reader for my desktop. Great deal.

Cool deal. Nice to see the cards are going down even more since I got one.

Does the 700p take larger than 2gb?

Some people are having trouble with 4gigs. I've read that some are having success but some people have complained to Palm and they're testing to try and find out what the problem is.

Yeah, I'm not even ready for a larger card yet on my 650, but was curious if the 700p had raised the compatibility limit.
