Default So are there nubs or such left when the cover is gone?

(I'm a Mac fanatic as well...shopping for these Treo goodies is driving me nuts...I need to make a decisions!)

Here is my choice in a case, the Sena leather skin case:

Yes, two small "sockets" at the top of the screen cutout. The screen cover is a hard clear plastic that has two small projections that easily fit in and out of the sockets.
I like this case, but I admit, I am now looking at things from BoxWave... they have some skin-type covers, too....

What other Treo accessories do you have, or are you planning to purchase? It's almost as bad as outfitting an iPod!!!!

Default Vaja Classic

I was just looking at the Vaja website and their Classic.

Looks nice except for one thing -- um, that nice big protective flap at the top, doesn't that get in the way when you've got the device to your face when you're using it as a phone without a Bluetooth?

Or, is it not a belt clip type case?

Default Innopocket

Unless I spelled it wrong, I couldn't find any mention of this aluminum case on this forum. Is anybody using it?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but the Speck SkinTight looks as if it's designed to stay on for long periods of time whereas the Sena leather case looks easy enough to slip off and on the T650 w/o much effort. Also, the Sena belt clip (sturdy looking) looks like it works with the T650 facing out while the Speck holster (a little cheesy looking) has the T650 facing in. Also the Sena has no screen protector. Why not make a case with a sturdy swivel belt clip, no obtrusive screen protector, facing in, that slip on and off easily? Asking too much??

I think this is true of any of the skin cases since you have to "peel" them off and also stretch them a bit. I would think if you were pulling your case off each day, you'd stretch it causing some issues.

I'm not sure this is true. I've been checking out the ToughSkin for Speck and I believe you can face in or out. I've been holstering it out.

I personally prefer getting an open faced case and using screen protectors. The Speck has a plastic piece that inserts over the screen. So, in effect you have to pop the screen cover to use your Treo.

Chris: Thanks for your input. I guess my other problem is that I don't like the screen protector that came yesterday with my T650. Small bubbles and it really took away from the brillance of the screen; I never had to use one on my K7135. Are those screen protectors you linked to on this website better and different? If so, I'll lean towards using them with the Sena.

I just pulled the trigger on a Sena red leather magnetic flip with belt clip (provides the screen protection I want) and a Proporta aluminum case for when she's not on my belt and in my inside suit jacket pocket. No point in deciding on just one. I kinda miss the clamshell on my K7135.

Default Screen Protectors

I haven't used the ones that came with the 650. I had some old, literally, Fellowes (is that how you spell it?) screen protectors from my Vx. I cut it to size and it works great. I've had no reduction in clarity or brilliance.

I have the Vaja and the screen protector. Managed to drop the Vaja with the Treo in it.
but, the Treo came out like a champ.

And, the Vaja fits the Treo much better than the other hard leather case at the Treo store (sorry Chris). I really think the Vaja is worth the price.
