Default Hybrid Headset/Headphones for Treo 650

I wonder if anyone is using what is referred to as the Hybrid Headset/Headphones for Treo 650 ?

Seems like I might like to use Real Player with my Treo 650 and have one headset that acts as both stereo headphones for Real Player as well as a handsfree phone headset.

Just looking for opinions if any exist.

they are okay but first off I would suggest not using realplayer and getting Pocket tunes....
Secondly I would get the seidio 2 in 1 adapter where you can get a good set of ear buds and have better sound quality. It functions as a headset for listening and an audio headphone set.

When you are listening to MP3's and you get a call it breaks into the song and alerts you of a call.....real nice product...

As for Pocket Tunes...AKA Ptunes it is a much better all around player and there is also The Core Pocket Media Player AKA TCPMP. It handles music and video......Plus TCPMP is free.....both are much better than Realplayer on the treo

    Exclamation Please Help

You provided some sound advice by your last post in this thread. I have been looking for a great RETRACTABLE/HYBRID/GELL option. I like the Seido Retractible "Link" but have an issue. What to you do with all of the extra cable with a decent pair of buds without modifying them?

The Pocket Tunes answer may also solve my video issues. Do you know if this will enable Sprint customers who are already paying for the appropriate media package to receive TV without subscribing to MOBI?

Anything can be better than what I have at this time concerning both of these issues. The answer there is NOTHING. Please check out my posts on these matters.

I am unable to realize the full potential of my expensive 650 due to my indecision and associated frustrations. AGAIN, this is driving me , very  and like :stupid: . The holidays are here and I would obviously prefer to be !!! I think that it's about time these matters are settled as my wish list is out there which includes several products on ET.

    Respectfully submitted.

i bought some headphones today from best buy that work on the phone fine, but i can only hear out of one headphone. i called sprint and they say i need to buy a stereo adapter from radioshack. i just got back from radioshack, and they said they don't have that, and that the headphones are defective(even though they're not) so then i call my local sprint store to see if i could buy another set of STEREO headphones, and a guy tells me that the Treo's audio output is only mono. now im really pissed and dont know what to do. does anyone own a set of headphones that work as music headphones and wireless headset? if i have to, ill just buy seidio product.

silversurfer, are you referring to the earbuds that just came out?
Any comments on music sound quality?
They seem a bit pricey... I'm pretty picky about sound quality and they wouldn't be worth the price if their sound quality wasn't up to par with the earbuds I use with my MiniDisc player.

    Thanks!

For you audiophiles out there, just read about the SHURE I2C for Treo 650.
I'd be interested in a head to head comparison with the new Seidio earbuds... just for kicks!

i'm sure the shures are great. i've been following them for a while, considering picking up a pair of i3c's for my treo. but the thing is that the DAP on the treo isn't that great. it's really pretty bad compared to the DAP's in ipods or even some basic flash mp3 players out there

i bet the shures sound awesome. but the treo is the bottleneck. so the difference will be noticeable over say the basic treo hybrid headset, but not mindblowing like shure buds vs ipod buds, from an ipod.

Not true! It IS stereo. Make sure you have the pushed all the way in. If they are not, then it will only play mono. Maybe the headset isn't stereo?
