The only 8GB card I can find is by Prencte and it is SDHC.

My cousin went to Japan and got it for me, I think it is a SDHC it does not clarify if it is or not,

Don't know allot about it I'm just using it, I have a third of my laptop in it.

You might google Pretech and see what you get. They were the first to announce such a beast. The last I remember reading, they were supposed to be available now and sell for $200 US.

I also read something a few months ago, that they were really close to a 16 gig SD card!!! Digital Photography review has a review on the 8 gigger. They really knocked it on transfer speed
