Default Seidio INNODock Cradle in a car

    Folks,

looking for feedback from any owners of this cradle. I need a cradle to mount in my car that will both charge and allow access to the audio output jack.

Currently my Treo gets clipped to the visor and has my charger and an audio cable attached (the audio goes to an aux jack on my car stereo). This is a pain in that the wires are all over the place and they work themselves loose while I'm driving or trying to operate the Treo.

I've searched high and low but see no good solution (manufacturers please consider this!!)

I'm thinking I can get the Seidio INNODock Cradle and mount it in my car so that all I need to do to listen to music or charge the Treo is put it in the cradle.

My question: Is the cradle able to hold the Treo snug enough for driving? Will it fall out if I hit bumps?

Any feedback is appreciated - or if you know of another solution bring it on!

    thanks

    George

Default ...actually Seidio if you are listening:

    The ultimate would be this:

    with an audio out jack...

If you build one and want someone to beta test it gimme a shout! ;-)

It wouldn't necessarily fall out, but I don't think you'd be happy. I placed a Treo in the InnoDock and simulated the bumps of a car. The dock and Treo would move back and forth. If you look half-way down the page on my InnoDock review, you'll see what I mean with the Treo moving back/forth.

I'm not so sure Seidio doesn't have an car mount of some sort that has this jack?

    Thanks for the reply Chris!

The only product I've seen in my days of combing all the Treo related sites is this:
http://store.everythingtreo.com/cont.../3-87--120.htm - but it fits Treo 600 only...

    I have a Sprint 650...

Seidio offers several powered car cradles. I think the 4100 is the only one that supports stereo audio, though. That's the main reason I've been holding off on buying a car kit. I'm interested in TomTom as well, but the bundled kits aren't stereo audio, and I'd like an all-in-one solution.

    zactly!

Call me crazy but looking at my palm cradle earlier today I'm thinking it may not be too hard to modify it to have audio outs... lots of space inside...

Anyone have a schematic for the pins on the bottom of the treo??
