The skin is useful in many respects. It make it more grippable and less likely to slip put of your hands or onto the floor of the car while driving. It also makes it grip to the table while typing into it. It also protects in the event that you drop it.

The typing keypad is uncovered so there's no change to typing. The other buttons ARE covered... I don't mind, the fit is pretty snug.

One cool thing in the kit is they give you a new battery cover with a hole in it so you can reset without having to take it off.

    Favorite Sedio Product Roundup

    My experience with Seidio products:

Seidio Charger( older model, not Vaja Compatible ) - No problems. Works great.

Seidio Charger( newest model, Vaja Compatible ) - Plastic on the power/sync connector broke the first day. Otherwise works

Seidio Extended Life Battery - Works great.

Seidio Battery Cover with Reset Hole - Works, but their paint comes off very easily so it definitely does not enhance the appearance of the Treo. If you have a cover over it, then no problem.

Seidio GPS Cradle/Charger - Works fine but difficult to install. Suction cup doesn't work well. Speaker works but the when Treo is docked the microphone is covered, so you can hear phone but other party cannot hear you while driving. Broke air vent grill trying to remove it b/c it is difficult to remove ( plastic is very brittle )

Seidio Audio Coupler -No complaints. You may need thiis to hook Treo to speakers while in the Seidio dock.

    Thank You

Well, I guess I have to report my first problem with a Seidio accessory. I've had the Seidio 2-in-1 over-the-ear headset for about a month now. Last night, I had both ear hooks snap off when I was putting the headset on. I've been very gentle with this headset, as I had read other posts about the retractable models dying. I think I'll have to follow up with Seidio directly, as I'm pretty sure I'm outside my 30-day window with the ET store.
To be fair, I have had no problems with my Seidio retractable S&C cable and holster. And this is coming from a guy who is very rough on holsters (I usually manage to snap the clip off within a few weeks).

Another echo of "Yeah!" for the skin/holster combo from Seidio. Two days into this and it's great.

Do they make a case for an iPod 5g 30gb?
