Default Skin/Pouch Combo for 650

Having bought a Treo 650 on Friday I'm now on the hunt for a new case.

I've spent time reading the forums, and looking at the store, and I think that the following combination will suite my needs.

Smartphone Experts S650 Skin Case

Seidio Premium Pouch Case

What I'm looking for is a good pouch case, but also something that will protect the 650 when it's out of the holster. While reading about the skin case, it says that it has a lanyard with it, which I assume could be placed around the wrist while using the Treo. Given that I've nearly dropped the blasted thing once already, this seems to be something that I will use. I prefer the pouch case over a vertical one, or at least the vertical one I bought in the store. It already has a nasty habit of flipping the phone from quiet to loud when being placed in the case.

Has anyone here used the combination of the two? Do you have any comments on it? Any other long time Treo users have comments about my selection?

Default

Well,

I went ahead and ordered this combination. Suppose I'll update this thread later with my opinion, in case anyone in the future is considering it.

System Tools or Repair

My skin and case arrived yesterday, and I'd like to tell you initial thoughts.

Well, I don't have any, because UPS claimed they left it on my front porch ... but I have no package on the front porch. (And I was home all afternoon, and at the time they claim to have delivered it.)

I've already contacted the Treo store ... just wanted to vent to someone who would care. And who better to care than other Treo fans, right?

Default It's Here!

It's finally arrived. First, a quick thanks to the EverythingTreo store ... they were helpful in getting my order to me.

My first impression of the skin is that it doesn't have as much grip as I was expecting. I though I had read that the case would provide something of a grip. The laynard is nice, but I've figured out in the past few weeks of owning the Treo, I probably won't use it.

I've got another case in mind.

I've never been big on holsters, though. My job often has me twisting and turning in odd directions, and I fear that one of those positions would allow the Treo to pop out of the holster. If anyone here has either of these cases, I would appreciate your comments.

Default Skin/Holster Combo

I have the skin and Seidio holster combination and I really like it. But just a warning about the holster. The top hook of the clip sometimes makes the SD card unlock. So when you take your phone out of the holster, your SD card might be unsecured. I lost my 2gb SD card yesterday, probably outside of the ER. I'm a paramedic and always manage to drop one thing or another. The skin is great but I think next time they might want to include a little flap over the SD card to prevent accidental SD card loss.
