Smartphones Experts S&C Cable - Quality??

I ordered one from the store here and have used it about 5 times. I am finding that the cable does not expand and retract very well without getting tangled - or it comes unspooled inside the device (like fishing line on a reel when you do not cast it right). Today it got completely wacked out and the spool got out of line - I had too much cable on one side - than I had to pull the cable through the spool to even it out.

Anyone seeing the same type of quality problems? This thing just does not seem to be something that is going to hold up well to me.

Thanks Cris, I expect I will do that - maybe trade it for the Seidio one. I love the functionality, but the quality of this one is not so good. However, being a noobie, I was not sure what I should expect and thus the post.
