You are correct. That is also the wording in the 650 manual. And when you brought that to the attention of Verizon, what was their response or explanation?

That is next. I will bring in the PDA and Headset and say "It's broke, please fix".

I will post when I get the word, which will probably be "Huh!".

The Jabra headset that Verizon said would work, as they collected my $29, will NOT work. Verizon doesn't sell any stereo headsets that will work with the 700w. They said order from Palm directly.

I did order a 2n1 from Palm. ($29)

If it works, I will post.

Using a Radio Shack adapter to make mono on both ear buds is a waste of decent music.

The lesson to be learned is that Verizon hasn't figured it out yet even though the sell a ton of Treos and their employees even use them. Even they hadn't figured out that the 700w outputs in stereo with the right headsets. I turned the gal in the VZW store on to stereo. She had given up.
