Hope you have heard by now that the 650 cradle is not to be used with the 680 unless it is one speciifc manufacture date. See Plam knowledge base for more info. Regarding that issue I have to say that PALM HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER NO SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DEAL WITH. They allow "policy" to dictate what they will do and the NO service reps are hogtied and unable to do what is right. When I ordered my new 680 the Palm.com sale rep sold me too on a new cradle and extra battery. Well, here 45 days later they announce that the cradle is NOT to be used with the 680. Think they will replace it? NO, think they want to do the right thing? NO. Why??? BECAUSE IT IS BEYOND THE 14 DAY RETURN / REPLACEMENT PERIOD!!! Duh? I didn't say it would work, I didn't sell it to me THEY DID... NOW they won't stand behind it. when I wanted to go up the line to speak to a supervisor of the supervisor, all I got was an email address customerservice@palm.com Guess what, the email I wrote came back!!!! This is the absoltly the worst customer service in the entire electronics industry!! Anybody have any ideas?
