I too started having some dark spots on areas of my Vaja case. And because some of the paint had worn off on some parts of my 5-way nav button, I wanted to get a case that would cover the nav button. I chose the speck case and I absolutely love it. Its a nice way to breathe new live into my Treo and I love the way it feels.

I was thinking of getting the same case, so please let me know what you think of it. It looks like I would be able to carry credit cards, and such, therefore I may be able to lose the wallet.

    Default I got the case...

Its very protective...sturdy...a tad bulky but thats expected since its all leather and not a skin...I dont like the belt swivel clip it came with because the treo "spins" on my waist and doesnt lock...krussell makes different easy attach clips so I got on ebay and bought another clip for $10. There is no plastic covering the screen but there is covering the keypad. It does act as a wallet aswell with a compartment that easily fits cc, id, some cash...it also has two memory slots to put your memory cards...you cant wear this in your pocket..I mean you can but its bulky...if you want to fully protect your treo this is the case...krussell also makes an automobile clip and bicycle clip..kinda cool..i paid 38$ for mine and I like it so far...but I can already tell that its not a "going out" case...its too bulky and would rather put my treo in my pocket than on my waist...

How much can it hold? Can it hold 5-7 cards and some cash?

I have a magnesium case don't think it gets much bulkier than that

    Default the krussell case

Man im glad you asked about how many cards...with it being new and the leather so tight i just now barely fit 3 cards in there and no cash...i'm hoping if i leave those in there it will "stretch" out the leather a little bit...i really want it to hold at least my id, 1 creditcard, and some cash so I can ditch the wallet!! The overall quality of this case is superior...very sturdy and well made. Another cool thing is that in the picture it shows how you can have your treo standing up straight facing you on your desk or just at home on the end table...

    Hiya Folks

I have been using the Sena Leatherskin Case with Pouch combo for about 2 weeks now ( http://www.senacases.com/cart/home.php?cat=353 ) and I am very happy with it. The workmanship on both the pouch and the case are excellent .

The cut outs for the case are perfect and I like having the little strip that goes over the SD card. Even with the strip there my SD card sometimes clicks loose so I shudder to think what would happen if i did not have the extra protection. I am certain that I would have lost my SD card by now!

It has the keyboard and the screen exposed and that is a feature that I like. The only minor beef is that the cross bar of leather in between the keyboard and the screen makes the top button of the 5 way a slight bit harder to push (very minor though).

The case is a nice tight fit which is awesome but it does take an extra moment or 2 to take off if i have to do a reset. Maybe i will get the seido battery cover and drill a hole in the case later... but hopefully i will not have to do too many resets hee hee

The pouch has a magnetic closure on it. I was a bit hesitant to get it at first thinking that it may be too weak but even with a lot of rough and tumble play with my son it has not opened by mistake. The belt clip so far is doing fine. I would of preferred a belt loop for extra security but this was the only case and pouch combo that i could find.

This is my first case so i do not have anything to compare it to but I would guess that it is a tad bulkier on the belt than a plain case or pouch. But when my son is taking pics with it I am glad to have the little extra protection of the case!

My 650 fits face in and the pouch allows for easy access to the headphone jack.

My shipment arrived to me (in canada) very quickly ie within 2 business days. Before I placed my order I had a question and they emailled me the response that same day!

All in all I am very pleased.

I will keep you fine folks informed of any future developments

    respectfully yours

    poopsie

Leather definately looks the most professional (except when it has a flimst piece of plastic attached) but I think I like the rubberized cases the best. treo-gear has some good "ruggedized" ones.

I have the aluminum RhinoSkin type. I used my dremel and removed the lower portion of the door that covers the keyboard. It came out good and is very functional now.

I showed a collegue and he asked me to do his. Done. Loves it.

I taped the door, especially the plexiglass, then marked and taped where I wanted to cut to. When I cut (with one of the small, thin sandstone discs), I left a little extra so I could use other bits to grind (more slowly) and polish. I found that using the waffer cutting disk worked well to grind off the metal to a more specific mark and angle -- just use the flat side, not a cutting side. To get the edges smooth -- I tried using the metal brush disc, but it was too abrasive. The waffer gets it pretty good, but then I used one of the green polishing bits, then one of the white, soft polishing buffers -- that did not work so well. Then I just used some fine grit sand paper by hand.

They actually sell these cases with the keyboard cut out/off now.

My friends and I agree that this offers great protection and functionality.
