Address Book/Treo 650 syncing question

I have not seen this covered in the forum; if it is there, forgive me.
I sync using Missing Sync to Address Book and iCal (Mac OS X, Panther). No problem there, except that after a sync, my contacts with multiple phone numbers/emails, etc, in the Treo show up with all the numbers, etc listed as "work", rather than , "home", "fax", etc.

Has anyone encountered this, and is there is a fix?
