Default Bluetooth sync will not work with Missing Sync...

    Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get missing sync working because I like being able to use my MacBook's internet connection on the Treo 650. The thing is, with no missing sync and using hotsync manager, I can do USB or bluetooth syncing no problem. With Ths missing sync, I can do USB no issue, but if I try bluetooth, the Treo just says "Connecting...". The Bluetooth icon in the system bar even shows device connected and if I go to devices, it says Treo 650 Connected but doesn't progress. It eventually gives an error saying port in use, or something. I've tried restarting, reinstalling, turning bluetooth on and off, nothing seems to go. Just weird everything works but bluetooth in missing sync. Any suggestions?

Make sure your MacBook is a trusted device on your Treo, and make sure Bluetooth is selected in Missing Sync's toolbar as an enabled connection.

Also, you mentioned using Missing Sync to pass on an internet connection to your Treo. Missing Sync can't do this. You're looking to do reverse DUN, or reverse dial-up networking. This protocol allows your Macbook to pass via Bluetooth its internet connectikon to your Treo. Search these forums & others and you'll find tips on how to set it up.

That's what I mean, use the Treo to use the MacBook's internet. Works fine over USB. Only Bluetooth works with hot sync. Bluetooth won't even sync with missing sync, not sure why. Even usb is sketchy, have to try a few times sometimes. Not a huge deal.. thanks though!
