I just got a Verizon treo 650 but am having problems with iSync. When I go to add new device it does not find my treo on the USB cable, but it will with bluetooth. It tells me that it cannot connect to the device, though. Why isn't it showing up with the USB cable?
That's odd, usually it's the other way around. Have you used Wireless Sync yet? If not, then I'd advise against using this -- from what I've read it can cause issues with the sync process.
Have you installed Palm Desktop? Which version of Mac OS X are you running?

Well I got it to show up in iSync by opening hotsync and changing the conduit settings. It got part way through syncing and then told me it lost its connection. When I click the iSync now button again, it tells me sync was successful, however when I click on the device it shows last sync was the one where I changed the settings from hotsync.
I am using 10.4.3.

Have you Enabled Palm OS Syncing from the iSync "devices" menu?

I was having this same issue, but finally found the solution. It's rather silly. Not only do you have to enable Palm syncing in iSync; you also have to "Enable iSync for this Palm device" in the Palm Hotsync conduit settings.
I too am having problems with iSync recognizing my Treo, but I was an early adaptor, so I have the Treo 600. Anyone know how to get my Mac to even recongnize my Treo?
