Entourage treo sync

Help I just bought the 650 on Saturday and I'm new to Mac. My provider is Sprint not much help I must say
I have been reading thru the forums and I see that I have a common problem.
I made the mistake of loading the factory cd and syncing with my 650 then I loaded the Entourage conduit and tried to sync again nothing but problems ever since.
Q: Can I start over I don't have much info on my Treo all my contacts are on entourage how can I fix this can I uninstall palm desk top and do a hard restart on the Treo. Will starting over solve my problems and what is the best way to start over . Please any Help would be a appreciated thanks…..
