Hello World!

I'm not sure which forum to introduce myself, but since this is the one that I Googled, this is the one that I read, this is where I figure I'll post.

For the last two weeks my lovely wife was bounced between Sprint and Sanyo, each claiming the other was responsible for the speaker death of her 2 month old phone. She couldn't hear via earpiece, speakerphone, or normal handset mode. We've been with Sprint forever, and this was the first time they were so obviously miserable in their customer service. I knew nothing about it until she complained to me this last Sat. I was on my way to work, so I told her to call some other providers, get the latest offers, and threaten Sprint with switching.

She called soon to tell me she switched providers, to Verizon.

And she had ordered a Treo 650 for me. I've wanted a Treo since I first played with one a few years ago. I lost my Palm a while ago, but was tired of carrying it, a phone, and an mp3 player. Sprint wanted too much for it, so I waited.

I got home Sat night and Googled "treo mac os x". As an experienced Mac and Palm user, I knew about the Missing Sync, but I wanted to be sure this would work. And I found your happy home.

Our package got here Tuesday, and I've been playing with it since.

I'm enjoying the forums, and will post separately with some requests for info.
