help with Address fields

I am using Missing Sync to sync Entourage with my treo. It was working fine...now all of a sudden certain addresses are not syncing while others do. Sometimes it is a work address and sometimes it is a home address. Birthdays also do not sync. Is there a way for me to fix this or change field pairings?

Are you getting any HotSync errors or messages? Have you tried turning off all other conduits besides Entourage? :confused:

No error messages or log results. I have turned off all the other conduits minus the media conduit. I will try and give that a shot. There seems to be no rhyme or reason which addresses show up and which don't....but if I input an address in the Treo it syncs over to the Mac just fine...just not the other way.

Alright...I just tried it and it didn't work...but...if I go in and edit the contact, the info seems to sync just fine. I have heard of this somewhere on the boards before, but can't remember the fix and would love to save myself the tedious task of editing all the contacts.

okay...I just spent hours fiddling with this at the airport. I had read before when you transfer files into Entourage that sometimes you have to edit the fields before they show up properly. This is what I found...if I had imported the files from outlook to address book to entourage...or address book to entourage it doesn't sync all the info properly. Once you edit the address field or email field the adress will sync and erase any numbers you have, but if you edit the address or email AND a number (its as simple as clicking on it..backspace and retype the number) it will sync. Addresses always show up in the wrok address and I think that is an anomally with contacts. I haven't found a complete fix yet, but this is a long and tedious one.

Personally I think I need to find a better PIM than contacts...any recommendations?

you have to edit the fields in Entourage

The Entourage conduit, as of Entourage 2004, only syncs one address. It’s specified on the desktop side, in the conduit settings.
