iCal won't sync w/ Treo 660
Got address book to work after many hours of searching menus. Can't seem to get iCal to sync. Have searched & tried many suggestions from this forum, still no luck. I keep getting the following error:
NSSyncConduitException: Calendar records could not be retrieved from the Palm, the connection to the device may have been lost..
can't connect to the device to synchronize
I am using iSync 1.2
May upgrade to Tiger soon. Was just wondering if there is something I can do now.
Thanks
G4 ibook 10.3.9 / Treo 650 (Verizon)

I noticed you have a Verizon Wireless 650. Have you messed around with Wireless Sync?
That could be your issue.

Cool! Avoid using Wireless Sync...as I believe that messes with your standard PIM's (which are now set up as the iApps.)
Enjoy your Treo!

Hi All,
I ran into similar problems with a Treo 700p & Verizon Wireless Sync, after performing a hard reset on the Treo the ical sync error cleared up. Unfortunatly, after doing this, the user was no longer able to get email on the Treo via the Wireless Sync.
After reentering the wireless sync user info, the email came in, but once again the iCal wouldn't sync. After looking in the hot sync log I found a message stating that Wireless Sync had disabled PIM syncronization in Advanced connection settings.
I went into the wireless sync control pannel on the treo, hit settings, advanced, and selected the option for "Enable Other Sync Apps" This solved the problem. Now the Wireless Sync is working for email, and hotsync works with iSyn to synchronize iCal and Address Book.
Hope that helps.
