Missin sync Wiped out my address book

What did I do wrong? I have the contacts now on treo but they got wiped out on computer. I am afraid to do another sync. Also I re-entered my personal inforamtion for Auto fill for the net and it is no longer working. It seems that my address book has become corrupted somehow after using missing sync. any ideas? I really miss auto fill on my mac. I hate having to fill out all those forms when x-mas shopping on net.

It looks like after a recent sync the addresses disappeared from treo. I didn't realize it until I just checked. What is the deal with verirzon, treo and missing sync. It seems to me that verizon has made it impossible to use the treo for noting more then a cheap phone. According to verizon I cannot sync data on treo back on to computer. What is purpose of having smartphone if cannot do simple syncing? Am I missing something?

Have you used Palm Desktop in the past? If so, then your address contacts should still be there. You'd have to revert back to using HotSync manager.

To do this, you'd have to uninstall Missing Sync. No 100% sure, but I believe the uninstall option puts the HotSync back in place. If not, check for the Palm folder withing your Documents folder. Back up your user folder and do a fresh install of Palm Desktop.

I normally have great success with Missing Sync, but this method might be a way to revert back to a working process and more importantly get your contacts back.
