Missing sync not syncing with 700p

It shows it is going through the process of intializing session on both the desktop and treo unit. It takes at least 15 minutes. then when it is done I check to see my contacts and there is none listed. nothing on calender. Evern though history show that sync of all of my conduits went fine. On the desktop it does say there was an error while syncing and to check history. But I check history and now error. I did not have this problem with 650. I have not changed anything on Mark Sync except upgrade to lastest version. Was I suppose to downlload the palm 700p software? I don't see why theyat would have anything to do with Mark space. Thanks for your help

Missing Sync works for me with a 700p. I have version 5.1.0 (131). I did define a new handheld and started from scratch. Handheld Menu -> Edit Handhelds -> Add Handheld

What worked for me:
Address Book into 700p Contacts with my groups. Smart Groups are not copied over.
iCal into 700p Calendar. My calendars with their names as catorgies in the 700p came across as well.

I didn't do anything special. I didn't have a prior treo either. I do have a LifeDrive, so that's why I defined a new handheld. I didn't want all that stuff in the LifeDrive moving into the Treo.
