The Treo 650 and Mac G-5 with the latest updates in each were synching just fine-- until yesterday. Now iCal (on;y iCal) will not synch with the Treo, and has erased nearly all the calendar events on the Treo.
Everything else synchs just fine, and the iCal view on the Mac is unchanged--everything is intact and up-to-date.
I have tried rechecking synch settings and everything appears to be in order, but I cannot get the iCal events to synch onto the Treo 650 anymore.
Contacts, Docs-to-Go, etc., all work and synch just fine.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome!
Since I got my Treo 650 (Aug 19 2005) I've tried every which way to sync it with my Powerbook and it only sync'd once - and that was after using the Missing Sync in conjunction with iSync 2.1. Then it appears to sync with no data exchange. I went through Apple Care, reinstalled Tiger, created a new user etc. even tried another Mac. I was on the phone with Palm level 2 support for an hour - took out Missing Sync, reinstalled Palm - nothing. So the data on my Palm is what transfered the first day I got it.
According to Palm's website, they're working on a solution, any idea on an ETA?
I've got the same problems since installing Tiger. I sync info to Mac from the 650 and it will not take tasks or iCAl calendar events that have been added to Treo.
This thread best belongs in the Mac OS X forum on this site.
I've been using iCal to and from the Palm for about a month now just fine, with Tiger. The most important thing to do is disable Wireless Synch, which is part of the Verizon package if you have that. Anyway, check out this topic in the other forum and you can find better answers.

In Wireless Sync prefs, uncheck the boxes until Personal Info (Datebook, etc.).
In Wireless Sync Setup, go to Advanced and Enable Other Sync Apps. This will allow iSync to run for iCal and AddressBook alongside Wireless Sync for your email.
Try it out - it solved all of the problems you've been mentioning on my Treo 650.
When a re-set is done does it prevent the Sync from importing mail or accessing the web afterward? I'm a bit concerned about unintended consequences of a reset.
