New to Treo & Mac....
Hello All, I'm befuddled. How do I convert iTunes material from my Mac so that it is playable on my Treo? Thanks!

Hi gayala, and welcome to ET.com!
I've moved your post to a forum we have that's dedicated to the marriage of Treos and Macs. I'm sure you'll find it useful.
Regarding your question, here's a link to a pretty thorough article in Palm's Knowledge Library about playing mp3's on your Treo.
Another suggestion I have is for you to look into a product called Missing Sync which is a Mac-only application that does a great job integrating iLife apps into the Treo. You can even set up an iTunes Treo playlist and sync it with your Treo.

How are your iTunes encoded on your Mac? If you bought them from the iTunes Store, they're in AAC, which means they're locked and in AAC, a double-nono on your Treo.
And if you bought them from the iTunes Store then converted them to MP3, still a nono since the DRM remains intact.
However, if you ripped a CD into MP3, you should be able to play them by dragging the music onto an SD card and using Pocket Tunes to browse for the files and then play them.
Or you can use Missing Sync to synchronize your iTunes library/playlists to your Treo, but you still have to make sure your music files are unlocked MP3 files.
