Question New Treo700p with new Mac

Hello, I am new to this site since I have just purchased a Treo 700p (Verizon). I have had a Palm for many years (so I am familiar with the Palm software) and bought an Apple Powerbook last year.

I have two questions on being able to sync my Palm and my Mac:

    1. What is the difference between "The Missing Sync" and the "Palm Desktop for Macintosh" software? Which is better?

    2. What is the best push email system to use with the Mac/Palm (assuming I can get them to sync well) for a .Mac account?

    Thanks, thobedk

    1. The Missing Sync allows you to hotsync via BT -- IMHO, the only advantage and why I mainly use it.

    2. After playing around with different email apps, I chose SnapperMail (http://www.snappermail.com). It is quite easy to setup and it does retreive mail from .Mac account.

    Congrats on the 700p.
