Office 2004 and entourage conduit

I just upgraded my Office from X to 2004. Now when I try and click on the preferences to edit fields for the Entourage conduit it doesn't open anything and my info does not sync. I am running Tiger (also a new upgrade, but syncing was fine until Office 2004). I tried reinstalling Missing Sync and the entourage conduit, but no luck...any help?

Okay...I found the handheld installer in the Additional tools folder of Office 2004. Sync worked, but why is my Treo resetting after hotsync now? Any ideas to fix this?
