They don't support Palm OS devices at the moment, and I really don't know if they plan to in the future.

    Default What a shame.....

I bet when Apple comes out with their version of a Treo 650 (which I hope is soon!) it will work with Skype....

I wonder if this incompatibility will make any 650 users switch to the new Win based 700? I assume that will work with Skype?

    Default I wonder if...

any "Skype" like programs, like iCHAT or Google talk, work with Palm devices. Hmm...will have to do some research. As a person who went over $190- on her peak airtime, I am looking for ways to talk on the treo peak hours without paying peak prices :-)

What do you mean? What does Apple have to do with a Treo 650?

I wonder if this incompatibility will make any 650 users switch to the new Win based 700? I assume that will work with Skype?
There is a Windows Mobile version of Skype, and it has been mentioned to work in the part I review of the 700w done by Treonauts.

Currently, there is no functional VOIP (Voice over IP) applications for Palm OS devices.

    PDA...Smartphone...

Ever since the end of the Newton, the rumors will never end.

I'm sure there are still people using the Newtons!
