sync with missing sync - Treo Forums

have treo 650/sprint and syncing with missing sync,
never had a problem, now when i sync, phone resets and have to keep retrying to no avail....help!! :eek:

I noticed that you were using Missing Sync before without any problems. Have you introduced anything new to the Treo 650 or Missing Sync that could be the cause. I too and using Missing Sync.. having great results with it. So, I would...

see if you've installed any 3rd party app's or utilities that aren't getting along with your Treo
change the settings in your conduits to concentrate on just the core synchronizations (contacts, address)

Sounds like it's more a Treo thing than a Missing Sync or Mac issue.

i did reinstall butler and backup, but i've had them on previously with no problems...

Try the hotsync with minimal conduits enabled and see if you still get the reset.

Treo 650, OSX 10.3
I can't get address book to sync the address. Other data does sync. Syncing of some data only works if I ONLY enable isync conduit. If anything else is enabled, I get a conduit conflct. Any ideas?

There is no Palm software installed on my computer. I removed it completely or else syncing didn't work at all. (Apple recommended I do that.)

In order to sync address book, you have to use iSync. You should turn off other conduits if they conflict with calendar/address.

Thanks for the reponse. I am using iSync and I have turned of all other conduits. If I turn anyother conduits on they confilict. I have done exstensive debugging (30-40 hours). The address book "syncs". It just doesn't copy the address info. Any ideas?

Hello again. I upgraded to Tiger and the address still appeared not to sync. I did more testing and determined that it will sync "Home" addresses, but not "Work" addresses.

Any ideas?
