Treo 680, Mac, PassThruSync and VMNetLogging

Hello,

Since I set-up hotsync with my Mac, I have 2 new applications: PassThruSync and VMNetLogging.

When I launch any of the 2, my Treo reboots...

Should I delete these applications (but they are locked...)?
Why do I see these now?

A colleague of mine found these two buggers installed after hot syncing his new 700p. Same thing: launching causes a reset. I have no idea what they're for, and there's nothing about them in Palm's kbase. He deleted them with no adverse consequences, and I suggest you do the same. If you're tentative, give Cingular (?) tech support a call and ask first.

Same thing just happened with me and my 1 day old 755p! I am going to delete them as well.
