    Default Treo, Tiger & Bluetooth

What can I do with my Treo 650 & Mac (running Tiger) to make them play nice via Bluetooth (or "brewtoof" for those who remember the Keynote a few years back)? So far, all I seem to be able to do is move a file from the Mac to the Treo. What else can be done?

I sync via BT. It's much slower than using the cable, but that doesn't take into account fishing the cable out of my drawer, connecting it, disconnecting it, and putting it away. I usually just leave the synching cable at home when traveling, so BT synching is great when I'm leaving the laptop in my room and taking the Treo with me.

Exactly what I want to do. And how do you do this? What settings did you have to tweak on your Mac to get it to sync via bluetooth?

    Thanks.

You have to make sure it's set to discoverable, then turn on Bluetooth on your Mac and search for devices. Pairing the two is pretty simple from there. I'm at work, where I'm dealing with a PC, so I can't remember the literal steps off the top of my head, but if this post doesn't help (and no one else steps in to offer more specifics), post back, and I'll try to find time to lay this out for you in the next couple of days.

Got it. Had to spend a little time fighting with it but it seems to be working now. It will be interesting to see how wellit works syncing with my Mac at home and my Windoze laptop for work. so far so good, though.

    Thanks for your help.

    You should also give TheMissingSync
It works way better than HotSync.
Amazing program, it also let's you
mount your SD card as a HardDrive.
