 |  Using Sprint Treo 650 as modem for Mac PBG4 (10.4.2) Thanks in advance for any help on this issue of mine. Great Forum! I want to use the Sprint Treo, when I am traveling, to wirelessly connect to the internet. Has anyone successfully set this up? Also, I have read the other threads that talk about using the Wireless Option on the Treo (but they have all been Verizon users). I don't seem to have a wireless option. I do have BlueTooth on my Treo, but is that the same as Wireless? When I try to connect from my Mac to the Treo, the Mac's Airport setup sees the phone OK but says there are no services available. |

    | One option is using Bluetooth DUN (Dial Up Networking). There are instructions for the setup here.

| I tried to download the Treo 650 updater 1.12 from Sprint. It took 45 minutes over a dial-up modem connection. When the .sit file (8 megs) arrived and I unstuffed it, a folder was created on my desktop but there was nothing in the unstuffed folder — "no items." Even though when I "Get Info" on the unstuffed folder with no items, it has 9.2 megabytes. Any suggestions? |

| I don't have a Mac so I won't be able to help with the update problem. Chris is a Mac guy, so he can probably help you out.
