I just signed up for the unlimited $9.99 sprint navigation and was simply wondering if there is another option(applications, etc.) that I can use on my phone that is better.

Any ideas??

I am also interested in the experiences of others. I am on AllTel, soon to be merged with Verision, which has no towers in our area.
Are there 3rd party apps for GPS navigation and maps which work well?

I don't have Sprint nav. I just downloaded google map application. Google map can utilize the GPS signal from the phone and pin point your location. It can also give you turn by turn direction when given a target to go. Of course, for the turn by turn to work, you constantly need to have access to the internet, because the little application doesn't have map base in it. The map is downloaded one area at a time as you move.

What's fun about google map is like on a PC, you can also have satellite view from your treo pro. If you switch to the satellite view, you can see an icon reprsenting your current position move around on the satellite view background as you walk, as if you were looking at yourself from above. It's kind fun.
