    Exclamation Palm treo 850

    Hi,

I have an issue with the plam treo 850. I have been sent the device by a client company for us to install our software on. Our software was designed for a PDA with 240x320 resolution. The 850 has a 320x320 resolution, but rather than fit our software to the screen, it stretches the width from 240 to 320 and extends the length off the bottom of the screen. There is no option to scroll and it is unnecessarily difficult to get to the controls that are pushed off the bottom. It is not possible to see these.

Does anyone know if there is an option to fit the application to the screen or enable a scroll control?

    Thank you,

    Sam Davies

Those of using 800Ws and similar devices have the same problem. The answer more than likely (and from the extensive reading done on it) is a visit to the vendor for a display update - it does not appear to be a difficult project in most instances.

The answer to my problem if any has the same one.

If you are developing applications for any PDA device, you need to set the window border style to "None" from "Fixed Single". This has taken me days to realise as it doesn't really make sense why it does this.
