Treo 850 outlook help please

I recently aquired a Treo 850 (Pro) and when I try and sync it, it keeps saying I need to download outlook. I have outlook 6 on my Winxp computer. I don't know why it can't see / tell it's there.
What do I do????
Is there some way to reinstall outlook. Or is there a newer free version maybe?

When you hook up the pro to set up the device if you had outlook it should have recognized it. Is your outlook outlook xp 2002 or 2003 or 2007? If its not recognized you may or may not need to reinstall outlook. You may need a soft reset on the pro! There is no free version of outlook. Outlook express is not the same as outlook.

I downloaded the free 60 trial of Office Outlook, and now it works perfectly. With my Educator discount I'll be able to aquire Outlook at a decent price.
