Hi there...

I just recently performed a software reset on my Treo Pro and installed the "ringer update" patch from Palm's website...

Now I'm encountering another problem... if I leave my phone to it's own whims, it will never go into standby mode, never bring up the screen saver... all it does is slightly dim the backlight (but keeps the today screen up and everything). Sometimes the bottom bar comes up that says "locking buttons, press OK" but it doesn't actually bring up the LOCK screen (i have it set to go into stanby and lock after 60 seconds)

Is there another setting I need to set? It won't lock itself on battery power either, which bothers me, but not as much as the other issue.

Unless I hit "end" a couple times, it won't turn the screen off... so my battery life is crap now because it's really hard to remember to hit end when I'm so used to just putting it back in the case and letting it turn itself off. And to top it off, it pulls itself out of standby when I'm roaming and stuff, and then just stays there with the screen on.

Am I going to have to do another software reset? I'm so sick of reloading my contacts!!!!
