I have contacted palmone about my pro that has cracks and am having to pay 26.00 to have one sent to me to send mine back. Keep an eye out on your pro I have had mine for less then 2 weeks and it has developed 2 hairline cracks just above the volume control. I thought I would get a hassle like oh you must have dropped it or something like that but they told me that they would have a new one sent out in 3 to 5 days with a package to send back my old one. Be WARNED watch out for cracks.

Indeed. This possibility has me back on the fence about choosing between the pro the epix the fuse and the incite.

I had my first Palm Pro for a month before I noticed hairline cracks in the casing. I don't believe the cracks are from neglect, I think they are occurring from pushing the buttons on the side of the phone.
Palm replaced my original device (after a fair bit of convincing) and I have had a new phone for two weeks, so far no cracks have appeared.
