Post Treo pro with palm pre form factor?????!!!!

I LOOOVVVeee my treo pro especially with Kinoma play. Kinoma Play is the BOMB. The perfect phone for me would be unlocked Treo Pro with the compact palm pre form factor, tethering capability, sync w/outlook, micro sd card slot and hardware buttons that allow you to hangup What do you think????

I'm by no means any tech guru or anything, but I love my treo pro as well. I guess the palm pre is the fad now, being that this part of the forum is so dead. I brought my treo pro as a replacement to a broken centro, and chose it over the pre because I found the treo on ebay for $219 as opposed to $549 for a pre. I had a small glitch with the pro in the first week. While I was in the sprint store, I really got a chance to test drive a pre. With that being said, due to the keyboard being readily accessible and having the arrow button so I don't have to touch the screen all the time, I would prefer the pro over the pre any day.

I am not a "business person" but I actually prefer windows mobile over the web os. I am a business education teacher. I haven't purchased any additional software and as a matter of fact, I don't use the treo to its fullest capability. I store many contacts, I do sync my contacts with hotmail, I send a lot of texts, and I surf the web a lot, but I still prefer the pro.

Hi there
"...due to the keyboard being readily accessible and having the arrow button so I don't have to touch the screen all the time, I would prefer the pro over the pre any day"

I am looking at updating from 700wx to Pro and have been able to trial an online fone in the teleco shop. (Pre is not available in NZ as yet) I'm interested in your comment about the arrow button - I didnt notice anything like this and with the Pro not having the softkeys to select the options either side at the bottom of the screen, it seems as if the Touch Screen would be in use more than ever which to a certain extent has slowed me from racing into the upgrade.
Also - with messaging (text messages) is using the Touch Screen the only way to be able to select betn menu items such as Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Draft, Deleted Items ??

Thanks
AKG

There are soft keys, but they are a part of the screen and change as the screen changes. The silver membrane button surrounding the "ok" button (which says palm) is a 4 way directional button.
