    Informative Card Export

irouse mentioned this software in the Treo 600 forum and I just wanted to pass along the information here. Card Export allows you to mount your SD card like a hard drive allowing you to easily transfer files. This is a very helpful tool as most of us are using SD cards. Being a Mac user, I get this functionality using Missing Sync, but this seems to offer the similar features.

Looks like a nice utility -- there is a free trial at the software store.

-You can transfer files to the device or backup files to the desktop
-You can use your palm powered device as a wireless thumb drive

Works quite well. It's quite nice and handy to launch the app, click on the connect to desktop and the card shows up as a removable drive. I don't use the card reader all that often since I don't have it connected all the time but I do have the USB charger plugged in so it's more convenient. But I heard that transfer is slower than a card reader.

There's also PFB (Palm File Browser), which is free and is a similar app.

One of the main attractions of Card Export is that it requires no software installed onto the computer. This means you can get files from any computer, anywhere as long as it has a USB port.
