    Default EzRocker- This Rocks!!

I just came across this on Palmgear. EzRocker gives your Treo a 'mouse' that you can manouver with the nav pad.

I am testing it now for quirks or conflicts, so far so good!

I just had to buy it. It's too cool. Here are some things I noticed during my use:

    1. It seems to disable the feature where you can press and hold the middle button for your alerts.
    2. You need to use the Application manager to disable it in certain apps. For example, I chose to disable it in ZLauncher, because it overrides the up/down/select by the 5-way. I find the 5-way faster than the cursor in ZLauncher.
    3. I'd pretty much disable it in any program that needs to use the 5-way (especially a long press of the middle button).

No resets, slow-downs or other quirks so far!

I'm afraid that I'd have flashbacks to the IBM ThinkPad I had to use at my last job. UGGGGHHH! I never understood how to use the little red ball as a mouse. Hopefully, the EZ Rocker is well..easier.

The biggest selling point of this app to me is that it allows my Treo to be truly one-handed. And if you ever ride the subway and have to stand up and hold the pole, you understand the frustration of trying to close a page in iSilo without being able to tap the little x in the corner!

I see your point. If you're able to do that, then it speaks volumes about the app. My beef with the red button mouse was it's inability to navigate. It was counter-intuitive. Looks like a brand new application -- October 3rd is listed as the submition date.
