    Default Handsfree solution

    Hi,

Just got a verizon 650 and was wondering if there was a handsfree solution for the phone. I'd like to be able to make/take calls while driving, but really only have use of my left hand (which obviously needs to be on the wheel)

Basically what I'm looking for is something that will pick up a call, and ideally put the speaker phone on.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Jamie

There are a host of car kits available in the store that offer a variety of features. You could start with a simple car mount (that's what i own), which will allow you to see your Treo while you drive and just touch the screen to answer a call. Other options include the plug and play Parrot Easy Drive for Treo 650. They get more elaborate like the Parrot Integrated Car Kit. Some of the kits require installation.

Basically what I'm looking for is something that will pick up a call, and ideally put the speaker phone on.
Looks like the Parrot Easy Drive would do the trick or you could go bare bones with the vehicle mount.

I'm curious if there is an application/utility that could get the Treo to automatically answer and put speaker phone on?

Is anyone using the parrot system mentioned by Chris in an earlier post? It looks cool but for $200 I wanna be sure.

    Thanks,
    Cheers,

    Thanks,
They've got an excellent refund policy here, so you can make sure it works!
