How to Clean Up Files?
My 270 Treo bit the dust. I bought a 650 Treo to replace it. I noticed that there were many files on my 270 that I couldn't identify what program they went with. I have tried many programs and deleted them but probably didn't delete the secondary files that they installed or created while I had was testing the program. How can I clean up the programs, files and remove the orphans BEFORE I sync my old information onto my new Treo?

I wouldn't recommend just syncing you 270 data to your 650 (except your addresses and datebook entries via Outlook).
Get the NeatFreak pack and install them onto your Treo first,
Perform a hotsync to get your contacts and calendar entries onto your 650,
Then, add apps one by one and launch each one to make sure that it works on the 650.
If you have to remove a program, use the Clean Up apps to make sure that you delete all related files.

I went from my Edge to my 270 with no problems...just sync'ed data.
I have a few programs that contain data that needs to go with them. How do I know which files contain the correct data for those programs?

Use Filez (www.nosleep.net) to see which files share the same CreatorID. These will usually then be the associated files.
