Default is there a way to tell which app is trying to access the internet?

Hi. I just got a Treo 650 through Verizon Wireless. I installed Verizon Wireless Sync before doing my homework on email programs. (I've installed a couple and I've settled on Agendus Mail.) There is a program that keeps trying to access the internet when I don't want to. At first I thought it was Chatter, which I have uninstalled, so now I think it's VZW Sync, which I'm going to uninstall tomorrow.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a utility out there that would tell me which program keeps trying to access the internet...maybe something similar to the Kerio software firewall for the desktop? Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any such utility, but any program which uses wireless updates on a schedule will generally try to access the internet at the scheduled time.

    Informative Thanks!

Thanks so much! This actually became a nonissue after I uninstalled VZW Sync.

How do you uninstall Wireless Sync? It seems to be ROM.

    Default You can't uninstall it

You can't uninstall it. You have to order a custom ROM from a third party. There's one that is supposed to be trustworthy, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet. Anyway, for now I just deleted everything in my VZWSync account and stopped using the software.
