Just wanted to post here: Treo Launcher's 1.0 beta 8 has fixed the crashing after running all apps from the card! (btw, I determined that prior to this, even the Treo 650 version of KeyCaps was still crashing on some apps, but not others. Notably, BeCrossword)

Thanks for the information!

1.0 is cool, though the month view on the calendar would be more useful if tapping a date would jump to the selected date in a user-assignable calendar app. (dunno how universal/easy this would be but jumping to the given date in TMP would be great for me!)
What happened to the planned Task list items below? I assumed they were going in that space.
Also, GoogleMaps icon is still showing crappy. I'd get you a screen shot but I don't have any apps for that on my Treo. It looks snowy, as though TV static were obscuring the image.
The icon is afflicted in both ABC and 123 modes, as well as the mini icon in the MRU list below.
No other icons do this for me.

I know someone will ask for "jump to a day" then later "why not highlight which days got appointment" ... ;-) If those features won't grow the program size of Treo Launcher by too much, I'd do'em later.
The month view is optional, so in theory there is still _room_ for todo list ;-)
GoogleMaps icon is a pain-in-the-neck, I am looking for a way ...
Thx

frequently used apps
I downloaded the trial version and am going to register it later on today . Before i register the software i need to know a couple things / have a couple of questions...
Is there any way to clear the most frequently used apps list at the bottom of the screen?
Is there any way to make the icons and text larger?
Thanks for any help that might be offered on resolving the questions

frequently used apps
One other thing i noticed.
I have some apps installed on the SD card and when i run them they work fine.
However. When i go back to the original screen the name under the icon disappears. Any idea how to fix that problem...other than a soft reset???
Thanks

Bit of a late reply, I've been bogged down with email.
I don't know a way of clearing the list in memory, but you can toggle it off so it's unseen, using the Toggle menu (rightmost menu of the main menu)
Icon text is larger in "abc" mode, but is not adjustable by the user. You could try a Palm font hack, like FontHackV. It's been a while since I played with it, your mileage may vary.
"I have some apps installed on the SD card... the icon disappears"
Haven't seen that problem, sorry. I take it you're aware of Lnchr's capability of running card apps from the normal categories? If you weren't, here's how: Add subfolders under the Palm folder on the card, and they will appear in the same-named categories. Pretty neat.

Also, regarding the GoogleMaps icon, I no longer have issues with it in Lnchr, I'm assuming there was a change with it on Google's side.
