I haven't used mRing, but good to hear you've had success.mRing looked great and worked so well without any issues.

As a new Treo 650 user, I wanted to get my ringtones over from my older phone (I know you can't transer them over, but the site I get my ringtones from works with the Treo and can download them to it). But looking at Ringo and Ringo Plus, it seemed a bit much for what I wanted to do... use MIDI ringtones and assign them to various contacts.
mRing looked great and worked so well without any issues. Well worth the $20 for registration.
One happy 650 user with my fav ringtones used on previous phones.

mRing was one of the first apps I put on my Treo. Definitely worth the registration.

have you guys checked out minitones? its an freeware app and plays back mp3 ringtones.
Haven't checked it out, but it is in our Treo free software section.:laugh3:
I use mring on 700p to save internal memroy and works good. If i get mutiple text from the same person the ringtone goes static and there are delays when people call and when i answer. Also it plays the ringtone after i hangup.
So it works and I put up with it. I like minitones but I would like to be able to set custom rintones for sms. But I can't do that without mring.
If you guys know of any better apps I would love to know thanks.
