| Search Options for Contacts Anyone know if it's possible to "search by ADDRESS" for contacts in the Palm Software? I know it's possible to search by first or last name, but would love to be able to search by "street name".

| I don't know of any way to do that in address book. However, I use a census report that is an excel document in documents to go. I have it saved in order by last name and also by street address. You may be able to export your contacts list to an excel doc and then save it by street address and send it to docs to go. I know this is not exactly what you were looking for but maybe it will provide you with another option. |

If you hit "options" then "Magnifying Glass" a "find" screen appears that will let you search the device via ANY (and I mean ANY) parameter. You can search by name, street name, address, phone number etc., etc. It runs through "Contacts" first, and then will continue to run through the other applications on the device to conclude the search. VERY VERY COOL!!

| Lower left, the "Blacked Out" key. Hit that, then the key with the arrow up and magnifying glass on it, and a screen with "FIND" on it will pop up. Put in whatever search parameter you want, name, phone number, address, business name, virtually ANYTHING, click "OK", and your 700p will run through your entire device and turn up any and all matches.
I have to tell you, this is one of the coolest things I've found on the 700p

| Have you looked at TakePhone? It allows one to search various fields, words, within words and so on and so on.

| If it's a "third party app", I don't know why you'd want to mess around with it, if it's something the 700p can already do by itself.
You know me Ben, I'm the total opposite of everyone else here.........I try to keep as much off my Treo as possible
