Sync options for Calendar

So here is the run down. I have been using a palm for the past 6 years and I have years of information on my calendar and other applications. I just started a new job and I do not want to sync my past calendar information into outlook at work and I also do not want to remove the calendar items on my palm or home pc.

Is there a sync tool available that will allow me to do a unidirectional sync or allow me only to sync a date range of calendar events? Any other ideas to address what I am trying to do.
