Timezones for Calendar events
Ok I have found where you can set the time zone for calendar events in the palm unit it's self. But I can not find it in the Palm desk top. I travel between time zones alot and need to set the time zone for each event in the palm desktop as well, An example would be, this meeting is at 3pm EST, not just 3pm.
Thanks

Hmmmm..... I see your dilemma. Let's say you set an appointment for 3pm in Palm Desktop and it transfers to your Treo. You fly to the west coast and your Treo's time goes back three hours -- the appointment is still at 3pm, which could make you 3 hours late to the meeting. Is this the issue?
I'm wondering if the Treo accounts for movement in timezones. ie. moving your appointment to it's appropriate time? What's been your experience?

Yes that is my problem.
In the desktop software provided with the phone from sprint, there is no time zone option.
However in the 700P it's self in the event details when you select the time (in the set time window) there is a Time zone field. It only lists citys, not EST, or CST so you better know what major city is in the correct time zone. In any case this does work when I switch time zones with my phone.
However as I enter my Calendar events in to the desktop software, (much easier to cut and paste) I have to remember to update time zone after I sync. As I enter several meeting at a time in the desktop software, it's a pain to remember to update them all after a hot sync.
It's wierd that the time zone option is in the phone but not in the desktop software

if you look in the phone bokk it should have an area code map of the US and Canada with time zones
