I have been using Franklin Covey Plan Plus on my Treo 600 and now my 650 off and on and discovered that with version 3.0 the agenda view on my handheld will not up up FC tasks. I read in the information about datebk6 about the FC proprietary db for tasks and saw some information about today 2.5. Has anybody on this forum used it and what would be the recommendations for me?

http://www.pocketcraft.com/ is the site and it lists v2.3 PalmGear shows 2.5 with the last update being 3-24-06.

I use 2Day by SHSH Software - www.shsh.com/beta - that will get you to the latest releases/betas, and it is very stable and well supported.

I tried Today a couple of months ago and was not overly impressed, 2Day is under constant development, well supported, easy to use and install.

I have been looking at datebk6 and agendus and dtg total office they all have an agenda or today screen

The today screen that is supported by Datebook 6 is not as fancy as one gets with 2Day or Today. Having tried them, I still prefer 2Day by SHSH software. Ben

I used the Agendus "today" screen for most of this year but recently went back to 2Day. The Agendus screen loses some of its worth (in my opinion) if you're not using Agendus Mail, since the mail interface doesn't work with any other mail app. Also, it doesn't interact with other things, like the native SMS, the phone app (missed calls, voicemails) or other things. Once I ditched Ag Mail, the other shortcomings seemed magnified, so I went back to 2Day.

Benjie thanks for your input I am still weighing all the options . I wish that franklin covey's task list was able to syn into the agenda view of the regular palm calendar like it did on the Treo 600. But 3.0 has some propietary db format that palm cant do. Thus my quandry. I have talked with Palm and also with FC and FC may recompile or something but I am not holding my breath. I may just ditch the FC and go with datebk6 which has an implementation of the FC 4 quadrant time management principle. or I may try 2day or facer. Still thinking m m m m

kd thanks for your info as well as agendus was something I was looking at along with DTG total office which is still in contention for purchase. I am trying to decide whatto try. I think that I will need to uninstall FC Plan Plus to try anything out. May do that during Christmas down time and see how each works. Thanks for the input.

DTG total office - for the price they want, the standard release of DTG plus 2Day from SHSH is a bit cheaper. Datebook 6 is also a heavy duty application and I love it!

Have you tried SmartList? I did and went back to HanDBase. have you tried their contacts package? If not, try them first, the cost is not cheap.
