I have just begun using my Treo's realplayer feature and want the music to be louder. I know how to increse ringer volume but am wondering if there is a setting that is not obvious (i.e. in sounds in preferences) to allow the player to be louder...thanks to anyone that can help.

In sounds, you can select volume and bump it up to "7". Thats the best you can do I am afraid . . . However, you can add VolumeCare to Specifically bump up the RealPlayer app to make it louder. Volumecare will also bump up your speaker volume on the phone app as well as any other sound. Its a great utility for the Treo speakers

hmm got it downloaded and on my treo but do not see the controls in my apps as I use realplayer or phone...I rebooted my phone, no change. Did I overlook a setting (I did advanced config and set the app to be controlled by the side rocker) but still am missing something!?

Open up vCare from the apps menu. At the top, you'll see a checkbox labeled enabled. Is that checked?

Also, with VolumeCare Open, you should see application Mode Configuration.

Select the Configuration Icon, and this will take you to the individual Palm apps you have installed. Find Realplayer:

This will allow you bump up or pull back that individual app volume

Many thanks...all of the above settings are correct...when I use the rocker on the side it moves the volume on realplayer but I am expecting to see a "boost" slide beneath that. Is that the correct expectation?
