The word is it is being by-passed and others say it is not going to be by-passed. You have about another 2 months or so before anyone knows for sure.

    Default What BS

I need phones now! We're currently using Treo 700w's. The boss is an Apple fan, did research on the iPhone 3G found problems with our coverage area amoung other things. Did some google searching on the 800w. Everything looked to be pointing to mid Sept. then last week the Treo Pro comes out and I think you might be right the 800w is going to be by past. What is a customer to do? I'm not going to by phones that are already obsolete. Not a big fan of the other carriers in South Eastern Ma.

The CDMA version is rumored to be about a year off.
