Default Beginning to Notice a Pattern

Been using my Treo 700p for a couple of months now. For the most part signal & broadband connectivity are not bad. Not fantastic, but certainly workable. Funny though, I've been noticing that on weekends, beginning Friday nights, I start loosing my broadband connection, & it disconnects & reconnects, all weekend! Monday it's back to normal & works fairly well all week. Very strange. Anyone else notice this?"Hollywood"

Nights & Weekends , weekends being the more common "near unlimited use" times for the cell phone user to get the most out of their service will be the most overused periods for a provider. Weekends are for play, and everyone is checking websites for movie times, directions, or just having fun catching up with people, and eating up bandwidth of the provider most likely. I dont think its as much a conspiracy as social engineering.... of course I love a good conspiracy theory!

Makes sense. I'd love to hear from other Verizon users, to see if anyone else is experiencing this same thing.

The closest I come to that problem is on weekends while at home, I can barely access the internet. It seems fine during the week at home, and when away from home on weekends it's fine also.

Same EXACT thing here! I wonder if they know we're home ha ha? This weekend's been particularly bad. I'd call someone at Verizon if I didn't think I'd get some "tech" on the phone who doesn't know much more than me, & then suggest I do a soft reset on my phone LOL."Hollywood"

My Verizon 700p has been great, but I do notice a reconnect or two on the weekends. Just a few minutes ago, the whole phone restarted by itself. Weird, huh?

Yeah that happens. The self initiated restarts, or the ones I initiate because of the device "freezing up", have become a regular occurance. I'd say every couple of days. And no, no real third party apps.

The connectivity this weekend has been the worst yet! I mean, I can be syncing email, browsing the web etc., etc., and it'll just disconnect and then try and reconnect.

Oh well, on the bright side, tomorrow's Monday, and I'm sure everything will be back to normal

But damn, I do LOVE this phone!!!!!!!!
